How to cook sausage gravy and biscuits

On medium heat, brown the sausage in a pat or two of butter.

Set your biscuits to bake. I use canned home style biscuits but this works well with any kind pre-made or homemade.

Cook until thoroughly browned.

Add flour to cover, somewhere around a cup.

Mix well to coat sausage and cook for 5-6 minutes.

When flour is cooked, add enough milk to cover. I usually use around 2 cups, but experiment to taste. Add more if needed. Do not boil.

Simmer and stir until thickened.

Plate biscuits.

Serve hot.

Push yourself away from the table slowly!
